Lincoln cricket board muted for playing Test series in Pakistan

One-day and Twenty20 matches will be something to think about: Mohan de Silva

Sri Lanka has refused to give any assurance to Pakistan regarding the Test series in December, Lahore (September 21, 2019). In an interview to a private TV, Sri Lankan Cricket Board Secretary Mohan de Silva said. It is a matter of great pleasure to get a green signal for Pakistan, we are also grateful to the host government for ensuring equal security for the Head of State.

He also helped Sri Lankan cricket in the ICC era as chairman, Mohan de Silva said that Pakistani fans love cricket and we regret it, when Sri Lanka had a difficult time and we too. If you were in a similar situation, Pakistan helped a lot. It is a pleasure that we are playing a role in the restoration of international cricket in response.

He said that denial of senior cricketers was a personal decision. However, a strong team consisting of talented young cricketers will be going to Pakistan which will compete with the fans. On this question, Mohan de Silva said that I cannot comment yet, however, I will look at the experience of ODIs and Twenty20 matches, after which some issues can be said only after reviewing some issues in the relationship. Pakistan was keen to host Sri Lanka's Test Championship 2 matches in October, but later limited overs overs. Scheduled first, the schedule for test matches is yet to be decided in December.

The side includes Sarfaraz Ahmed (captain), Babar Azam (vice-captain), Abid Ali, Asif Ali, Fakhar Zaman, Haris Sohail, Mohammad Hasnain, Iftikhar Ahmed, Imad Wasim, Mohammad Amir, Mohammad Nawaz, Mohammad Rizwan, Shadab Khan, Usman Shinwari and Wahab Riaz.
